Northern Railway, Office of the Principal Chief Materials Manager, Baroda House, New Delhi, has announced the August 2026 e-auction programme for disposal of various railway scrap materials. The auction includes Ferrous Scrap, Non-Ferrous Scrap, Miscellaneous Scrap, Condemned Locomotives, Coaches, Wagons, Scrap Rails, P.Way materials, Used Lead Acid Batteries, Used Oil, Refused Oil and other scrap items. Disposal of Used Lead Acid Batteries, Used Oil and Refused Oil shall be restricted to recyclers registered with the State Pollution Control Board. E-auctions will be conducted by various depots and divisions including AMV, SSB, JUDW, Delhi, Umbala, Firozpur, Lucknow and Moradabad during August 2026. Interested bidders can access detailed auction catalogues, lot information and participation guidelines through the IREPS portal. Prospective purchasers may inspect the scrap materials at the designated locations during working hours before the auction. Registration on the IREPS platform is mandatory for participation.
