Description: The University of Kashmir, Srinagar, has announced that Iqra Nazir, daughter of Nazir Ahmad Bhat, has been awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Social Work. She completed her Integrated Ph.D. programme with a thesis titled "Psycho-Social Wellbeing of Working Women in Kashmir: A Comparative Study of Organized and Unorganized Sector" under the supervision of Dr. Aadil Bashir, Associate Professor, Department of Social Work, University of Kashmir. She was declared qualified for the award of the Ph.D. degree on 04 June 2026.
