Vadassery Damodaran Satheeshan, who brought an end to the LDF’s decade-long rule, was sworn in as Chief Minister of Kerala in a grand ceremony at Central Stadium on Monday. Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar administered the oath as thousands of UDF supporters cheered loudly from the massive pandal. The 61-year-old leader, elected from Paravur in Ernakulam district for the sixth consecutive term, is now the 13th Chief Minister of Kerala.
