Major Milestone Achieved Ahead of LVM3-M6 Mission
Summary: ISRO has successfully completed the qualification tests of drogue parachutes for the Gaganyaan crew module. These tests were conducted at the Rail Track Rocket Sled (RTRS) facility in Chandigarh on December 18 and 19, 2025.
Key Detail: The LVM3-M6 mission is set to launch on December 24, 2025, at 8:54 AM from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. This mission will deploy the largest commercial communications satellite ever placed in Low Earth Orbit, marking a significant achievement for India’s space program.
