A group of eminent advo-cates of Telangana High Court led by the Telangana Bar Council and designated senior advocates on Wednes-day appealed to Chief Min-ister A Revanth Reddy to expedite the murder inves-tigation of advocate Khaja Moizuddin. The advocates appealed to the Chief Minister to ap-point a Special Investigation Officer to conclude the probe quickly and urgently desig-nate a Special Public Pros-ecutor to oppose bails, han- dle miscellaneous petitions, and conduct the trial. It also called for accelerating pend-ing applications submitted by the deceased's son. Calling for the immediate arrest of three other prime absconding accused, Abid, Muneer, and Chaush, the advocates, including the deceased's son Sanaullah Farhan, Supreme Court ad-vocate Mirza Nisar Baig, V Raghunath, Pasham Sujatha, and A Vishnu Vardhan Red-dy, urged the government to order a high-level inquiry. They requested that a re-tired High Court or Supreme Court judge investigate all Waqf properties under Mahboob Alam Khan, espe-cially regarding the misuse of funds and illegal encroach-ment at Anwar-ul-uloom College, Mumtaz College, and Madrasa-e-Aizza. Furthermore, the legal professionals demanded strong, decisive state action to protect and save these val-uable Waqf properties from the clutches of the alleged accused. They asserted that lakhs of Waqf income had been illegally diverted and used to kill Khaja Moizud-din, making a thorough in-stitutional cleanup absolutely necessary.
