Torrent Power Grid Limited has filed a petition with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) for the determination of tariff for a transmission scheme intended to evacuate 4.5 GW of renewable energy.The project involves a LILO of Pirana (PG) - Pirana (T) 400 kV D/c line and bay upgradation work at Pirana (T).The actual Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the project is noted as 24.02.2026.The capital cost on COD is reported as Rs. 511.76 Crore, with an approved cost of Rs. 800 Crore.
