IDBI Bank Limited has issued a formal show cause notice to borrower M/s Medkm Healthcare and its partners, Shri Atinder Pal and Shri Amit Malik. The bank has proposed to classify them as "Wilful Defaulters" due to non-repayment of credit and auto loan facilities totaling Rs. 0.789 crore. Findings by the bank's identification committee reveal instances of siphoning funds, regular defaults despite having the financial capacity to pay, and a failure by the guarantors to honor obligations. The named individuals have been given 21 days from June 2, 2026, to submit a written response explaining why their names should not be included in the wilful defaulters list under Reserve Bank of India guidelines.
