REC Limited has sanctioned ₹4.22 crore for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project aimed at establishing 100 smart classrooms in government schools across the Lakhimpur and Kaziranga regions of Assam.The project is designed to integrate digital learning solutions to enhance education quality in these areas.A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for this initiative was signed on July 2, 2026, in Gurugram.The partnership involves REC Limited and the Indo German Institute of Advanced Technology (IGIAT).
