Description: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation has notified all property owners, advertisers, advertising agencies, business establishments, and the public that advertisements, hoardings, banners, billboards, display boards, and similar structures cannot be displayed without obtaining the required licence and paying the prescribed advertisement tax under the West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act, 2006. Unauthorized advertisements must be removed immediately, failing which the Corporation will remove them at the owner's risk and recover the associated costs.
