The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) has issued a public notice informing that Shri Javid Ahmad Kitab has been placed under interim suspension from the office of President pursuant to a resolution passed by the Apex Council. With immediate effect, he shall no longer exercise or perform any powers, functions, or responsibilities as President of JKCA pending further proceedings under the Association's Constitution. JKCA has clarified that any communication, financial transaction, contractual arrangement, authorization, administrative decision, or other action undertaken by Shri Javid Ahmad Kitab on behalf of the Association after the effective date of his suspension will be treated as unauthorized and carried out in his personal capacity. The Association has further stated that it will not be responsible for any legal, financial, contractual, or administrative liabilities arising from such unauthorized acts and has advised all stakeholders, institutions, banks, vendors, contractors, and the general public to exercise due caution while dealing with him in matters relating to JKCA. The notice has been issued by the Honorary Secretary on the orders of the Apex Council in the interest of transparency, good governance, and protection of the Association's institutional and financial interests.
