The Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Baramulla, under the presiding authority of Hon’ble Jawad Ahmad, has issued a public notice in the matter of a recovery suit filed by J&K Grameen Bank, Branch Kanispora Baramulla, against Tanveer Hassan Mir and others. The suit pertains to the recovery of an amount of Rs. 16,81,181/- (Rupees Sixteen Lakh Eighty-One Thousand One Hundred Eighty-One only) as on 30-04-2022, along with applicable interest. It is stated that summons were issued to the defendant, Mohammad Maqbool Rather S/o Mohammad Abdullah Rather, R/o Dewanbagh Baramulla (fresh address: near Gurdawara Kanispora, National Highway Road, Tehsil and District Baramulla). However, the summons were returned unserved with the report that the addressee could not be found at the given address. Accordingly, the Court has directed that the above-named individual appear before the Court on 11-08-2026 to show cause why the suit should not be decreed against him.
