The Office of the Recovery Officer-I, Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT-2), New Delhi, has issued a Demand Notice under Sections 25 to 28 of the Recovery of Debts & Bankruptcy Act, 1993, in Recovery Certificate No. RC/128/2025 arising out of OA No. 688/2016 filed by Axis Bank against Ravi Malik and others. The notice states that a sum of ₹26,69,201, along with pendente lite and future interest at 10.05% per annum (simple interest) from 02.09.2016 until realization, and costs of ₹29,000, is recoverable jointly and severally from the certificate debtors. The concerned parties have been directed to pay the outstanding amount within 15 days of receipt of the notice, failing which recovery proceedings will be initiated in accordance with applicable law. The debtors have also been directed to file an affidavit disclosing details of their assets and to appear before the Recovery Officer on 03 August 2026 at 10:30 AM for further proceedings.
