The Kangra Central Co-Op Bank Ltd., Branch Office Jassur, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh), has issued a Possession Notice under Section 13(4) read with Rule 8 of the Security Interest (Enforcement) Rules, 2002, following default in repayment of loan dues. The Bank had earlier issued a Demand Notice dated 16.04.2026 to the borrower Sh. Kushal Bhardwaj, along with guarantors Sh. Baldev Singh and Sh. Bir Singh, all residents of Village Bhaloon, PO Thora, Tehsil Nurpur, District Kangra (HP), calling upon them to repay the outstanding dues of Rs. 21,27,052/- (Rupees Twenty One Lakh Twenty Seven Thousand Fifty Two Only), along with applicable interest, costs, and charges. As the borrowers failed to clear the dues within the stipulated time, the Authorised Officer has taken possession of the secured immovable property on 23.06.2026. The property is located at Mohal Bhaloon, Hadbast No. 50, Moza Thora, Tehsil Nurpur, District Kangra (HP), comprising land under Khata No. 84, Khatoni Nos. 165 & 166, covering multiple Khasra numbers with a total share measuring 0-17-12 hectares. The owners/occupiers have been directed to hand over vacant possession within 30 days from the date of notice, failing which further legal action, including auction proceedings and assistance from the District Magistrate under Section 14 of the Act, may be initiated. The public in general is cautioned not to deal with or create any interest in the said property, as it remains charged in favour of the bank for recovery of dues.
