Magna Electro Castings Limited informs its shareholders that pursuant to Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with the IEPF Authority Rules, 2016, equity shares in respect of which dividends have remained unclaimed/unpaid for seven consecutive years (from FY 2018–19 onwards) are liable to be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority.
The Company has already sent individual communication to the concerned shareholders at their registered addresses and has also uploaded the complete list of such shareholders and shares on its official website. Shareholders are advised to verify their details of unclaimed dividends and shares through the company website.
Shareholders holding shares in physical form should note that upon transfer to IEPF, their share certificates will stand cancelled. In case of dematerialised holdings, the corresponding shares will be debited from the demat account.
If no claim or communication is received within three months from the date of this notice, the Company will proceed with the transfer of shares to IEPF Authority as per applicable rules without further notice.
After transfer, shareholders may claim both unclaimed dividends and shares from the IEPF Authority by following the prescribed procedure under the Rules.
