Suklangika Shylla, resident of Lumdiengjri, Shillong, has officially changed the surname of herself and her two children from Doome to Shylla. Henceforth, they shall be known as Suklangika Shylla, Dasani-ika Shylla, and Da-E-Kynsaisame Shylla for all legal and official purposes. The change has been declared through an affidavit sworn before the Notary Public, Shillong, on 07 July 2026.
