Maruti Suzuki India Limited has issued a notice to its equity shareholders regarding the transfer of shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority under the IEPF Rules, 2016, as amended.
As per the applicable provisions, equity shares in respect of which dividend has remained unclaimed or unpaid for seven consecutive years or more are liable to be transferred to the IEPF Demat Account. The company has individually communicated with the concerned shareholders and has also uploaded the complete details of such shareholders and shares on its official website.
Shareholders are advised to verify their details of unclaimed dividends and shares scheduled for transfer by visiting the company’s investor section. In case no valid claim or communication is received from the concerned shareholders on or before 15 September 2026, the shares will be transferred to the IEPF Authority as per the prescribed procedure.
Shareholders who wish to reclaim their unclaimed dividends or shares after transfer may do so by following the procedure laid down by the IEPF Authority.
