BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to extend the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) deadline, citing low participation and poor voter awareness.Key Points of KTR's Demand:Low Form Submissions: KTR noted that only 7% of the distributed SIR forms have been submitted so far, making it virtually impossible to complete the drive by the July 24 deadline.Extension Needed: Due to inadequate awareness campaigns by Booth Level Officers (BLOs), the party has formally demanded an extension for the voter verification process.Duplicate Votes: He criticized the ECI for focusing only on duplicate votes within districts while ignoring individuals listed in voter rolls across multiple states. He strongly advocated for strict enforcement of the "one person, one vote" principle.Action Plan: The BRS has mobilized its Booth Level Agents (BLAs) across 93 assembly constituencies and plans to send a delegation to New Delhi to formally meet with the Election Commission.
