Jharkhand Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare Department has invited options from eligible postgraduate degree and diploma holder specialist doctors already serving under Jharkhand Health Service for adjustment into the Non-Teaching Specialist Doctor Cadre as per the Jharkhand State Non-Teaching Specialist Doctors (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules, 2021. Eligible postgraduate degree holders will be entitled to four additional increments and postgraduate diploma holders to three additional increments, subject to cadre provisions. Doctors drawing pay higher than the basic cadre may also opt for adjustment in their existing pay scale without entitlement to additional increments. Interested doctors must submit the prescribed option form along with required documents, educational qualification certificates, and experience certification from the Civil Surgeon concerned on or before 28 June 2026 through the competent controlling authority. Adjustment will be considered only against available vacancies in the Non-Teaching Specialist Doctor Cadre. Submission of an option form does not guarantee adjustment. Doctors who have already applied after the year 2024 are not required to submit a fresh application
