HDFC Bank Limited has issued a comprehensive demand notice targeting eight defaulting borrowers, co-borrowers, and legal heirs across Uttarakhand districts including Dehradun, Haridwar, and Udham Singh Nagar. The financial institution has initiated formal recovery actions against multiple mortgaged properties, including residential houses and plots in locations such as Roorkee, Kashipur, and Haridwar, to recover separate outstanding dues ranging from Rs. 3,42,040 to Rs. 19,63,210. All defaulting parties are legally directed to clear their respective outstanding amounts plus applicable future interest within a strict 60-day period from the demand notice date of 29.06.2026 to prevent the bank from executing its statutory rights under Section 13(4) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 to take physical possession or sell the secured assets.
