Aavas Financiers Limited has issued a statutory demand notice under Section 13(2) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 to multiple defaulted borrowers across Delhi and Uttar Pradesh regions. The company demands immediate repayment from Sadhin Poddar (Rs. 6,47,216), Indra Indra (Rs. 2,47,840), and the legal heirs of Late Mr. Jile Singh (Rs. 5,46,519) following the classification of their accounts as Non-Performing Assets (NPAs). Borrowers must clear their respective dues within 60 days of the notice, failing which the financial institution will initiate attachment and public auction proceedings against the mortgaged properties.
