Debts Recovery Tribunal, Hyderabad (DRT-2) A demand notice has been issued by the Recovery Officer of Debts Recovery Tribunal Hyderabad (DRT 2) under Sections 25 to 28 of the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993 read with the Income Tax Act recovery rules, in connection with Recovery Certificate RC/174/2026 dated 08.06.2026. The case is filed by Bank of India against the concerned borrowers in OA 979/2025, for recovery of an amount of Rs. 70,05,471.16 along with applicable interest @ 8.80% per annum and costs. The notice directs the defendants to pay the due amount within 15 days of receipt, failing which recovery proceedings will be initiated as per law. The parties are also directed to submit an affidavit disclosing their assets and appear before the Tribunal on 13.07.2026 at 10:30 AM for further proceedings.
