Office of the District Legal Services Authority Srinagar has issued a public notice dated 16-05-2026 in a case filed by J&K Grameen Bank, Branch Panzinara, under Section 12-A of the Act before the Commercial Courts. The matter concerns M/s Shafat Readymade Garments (through proprietor Shafat Ahmad Bhat) and other respondents, whose services could not be completed due to insufficient or incomplete address details. Despite attempts, ordinary service of notice was not effective, and the court has permitted substitute service through publication/advertisement. Accordingly, the non-applicants are directed to appear in person or through their legal counsel before the authority on 24-06-2026. Failure to appear on the given date may result in ex-parte proceedings as per applicable law.
