Office of the Additional Collector (Law & Order), Purnia has issued a public notice regarding vehicles seized under the Excise Act. Despite notices being served to the registered owners, they did not appear before the court. Therefore, further proceedings for confiscation of the seized vehicles have been initiated. The notice includes details of the following vehicles: Hyundai Creta – Registration No. WB18R-2051 Tata 407 – Registration No. WB30-7964 Tata Ace Gold – Registration No. WB73G-9982 Concerned vehicle owners or any person having a legal claim over the vehicles are directed to appear personally or through an advocate before the Excise Court of the Additional Collector (Law & Order), Purnia and submit their claim on or before 20 July 2026.
