In the Court of the Learned District Delegate Court at Alipore, Alipore District Court, Sth Civil Judge (Senior Division), Case No. 338 of 2025 under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 has been filed seeking grant of a Succession Certificate in respect of the estate of the deceased Smt. Shila Chaudhuri, who expired on 02.01.2020. The application concerns shares held in demat accounts and bank accounts valued at approximately ₹1,55,67,574.50 (Rupees One Crore Fifty-Five Lakh Sixty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Four and Fifty Paise only). The petitioner Smt. Rupa Tarafdar, along with consent from Shri Santanu Chaudhuri, has applied for succession in respect of the said movable assets of the deceased. Any person having objection or claim in respect of the said estate is hereby directed to appear before the said court within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice, either in person or through authorized representative, and file their objection.
