We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker to join our manufacturing team. Position: Toolmaker Location: Derrimut, VIC Employment Type: Full time (38 hours per week) Job Duties • Testing newly fabricated or repaired tools to ensure optimal performance during trial runs, and adjusting as necessary to correct dimensional errors or structural concerns. • Diagnosing faults in worn or damaged mould tools, dismantling them for inspection, and performing necessary repairs or alterations to restore functionality. Requirements and Skills • Must At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Toolmaker or in precision metalwork. • AQF Certificate III in Engineering – Toolmaking Trade (including two years of on-the-job training) or AQF Certificate IV in a relevant field. • Strong understanding of technical drawings and precision measuring tools.
