Piazza Italian Canteen brings a taste of Italy and Brazil to the heart of Malaga Markets. We serve a variety of fast, high-quality meals including wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, hearty rolls, breakfast options and homemade desserts. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Shop Manager to oversee our operations, focusing on product sales, retail standards, and business growth. Key Responsibilities: • Determine and manage product mix, stock levels, pricing, and service standards in line with customer demand. • Formulate and implement purchasing and promotional strategies to maximise sales and profitability. • Oversee merchandising, advertising, and marketing campaigns to promote the business and attract customers. • Ensure efficient stock rotation, inventory management, and accurate record-keeping of sales and financial transactions. • Direct, supervise, and train staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high customer service standards. • Monitor and maintain compliance with workplace health and safety standards. • Undertake budgeting and cost-control measures to meet financial performance targets. • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and management to optimise retail operations and customer satisfaction. Skills and Experience: • At least 3 years of full-time experience in a retail or food retail management environment. • Proven ability to manage product sales, stock levels, and promotional activities. • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. • Knowledge of budgeting, merchandising, and customer service practices. • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and meet business goals. Qualifications: • A relevant qualification in business, management, or retail operations is desirable but not mandatory.
