About the Job Posting SENIOR PURCHASING SPECIALIST Our company, operating in the mining sector, is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist with experience in technical procurement processes to join our team at the Hakkari – Meskan Zinc & Lead Mine site. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Graduates from universities, preferably with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field. At least 5 years of experience in purchasing , Experienced in construction machinery equipment, spare parts, consumables and service procurement for at least 3 years . Preferably with experience working in the mining or heavy industry sector . Possessing the ability to read and interpret technical specifications and compare bids. Experienced in contract management and negotiation processes. Knowledgeable in budget management, cost analysis, and inventory optimization. Able to conduct supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management processes. Experienced in using ERP systems (preferably Logo Tiger / SAP ), Able to effectively use Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel for reporting purposes. Analytical thinker, results-oriented and solution-focused. Strong communication and representation skills. Must possess a Class B driver's license and be able to drive a vehicle actively. Male candidates must have completed their military service. JOB DESCRIPTION To contribute to the development and implementation of the company's purchasing strategies. Managing end-to-end procurement processes for technical materials, equipment, and services. To ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective purchasing by effectively utilizing the supplier portfolio . Conducting price research, collecting bids, comparing and negotiating prices. Preparing, updating, and managing purchasing agreements. Measuring, reporting, and improving supplier performance, Managing the purchasing budget and reporting regularly to senior management. To support central warehouse and field inventory management processes. Tracking and reporting import, customs, and freight processes. To manage domestic and international shipping and logistics purchasing organizations. Monitoring purchasing processes through KPIs and performance indicators, Developing alternative suppliers and cost-reducing solutions, To ensure timely and complete tracking of invoices for purchased goods and services. To support the uninterrupted and efficient conduct of mining operations.
