We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our engineering team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate cost estimates for engineering projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids that align with project specifications and company objectives. Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed cost estimates for engineering projects including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. - Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop comprehensive cost estimates. - Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy in estimates. - Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to determine best value and compliance with project requirements. - Identify potential risks and opportunities in project estimates and provide recommendations to management. - Maintain and update estimating databases and cost files for future reference. - Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and client requirements. - Participate in pre-bid meetings and presentations to clients as necessary. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years experience as an estimator in the engineering or construction industry. - Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques, pricing strategies, and industry standards. - Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to detail. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Knowledge of local Saudi Arabian market conditions and supplier networks is preferred. - Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
