Requirements ::: {bind="html: Job.Requirements"} The Sales Engineer will play a significant role in the growth and success of Commence in the Commercial Healthcare markets. The ideal candidate will support and partner with the Sales team on a variety of technical efforts and aspects of the sales process, acting as a subject matter expert on the companys solutions. This role is responsible for understanding customer requirements, delivering product demonstrations and translating technical capabilities into clear business value. Partner with the commercial sales team and leadership to support the technical aspects of the sales process from initial discovery through close. Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, workflows and business challenges. Deliver product demonstrations, presentations and technical overviews tailored to customer needs and use cases. Design and propose solution architectures that align with customer requirements and the companys capabilities. Support responses as needed for technical questions, RFPs, RFIs and security or compliance questionnaires as needed. Support proof-of-concepts, pilots and evaluations to validate solution fit and value. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused value propositions for non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with product, program management and customer success teams to ensure accurate solution positioning and smooth post-sale handoffs. Work continually with the product and development teams to stay current on product features, roadmap updates, competitive solutions and industry trends. Provide feedback from the field to internal teams to help improve product functionality, messaging and sales effectiveness. Other duties as requested or assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology or another related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales engineering or other related fields and preferably within the software or technology industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders as needed. Must have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and create connections with prospects. Demonstrated ability to understand, explain and apply complex technical concepts related to software, systems and technology solutions relevant to the role. Knowledge of the Commercial Healthcare market dynamics, regulations and common business challenges is desirable. Strong ability to work cross functionally with sales, product, engineering and customer success teams in a quota driven environment. Relevant experience designing, configuring and supporting software solutions that include understanding system architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows and security considerations. Meticulous with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member.
