The Safety Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment, minimizing risks, and ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are properly implemented across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Deliver safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks to employees. Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper compliance. Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation. Coordinate with management to improve safety performance and awareness.
