About the job Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Import Operations 📍 Şişli, Istanbul, Turkey We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Import Operations Team. This role is based at our Istanbul office and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance for imported food products. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Fluency in written and spoken English. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs for food products (e.g., chocolates, biscuits, snacks, alcoholic beverages, confectionery, frozen bakery products, etc.). Solid understanding of Turkish Codex labeling laws and regulations; knowledge of international regulations is an advantage. Familiarity with regulatory databases and their maintenance. Knowledge of international shipping/logistics and food importation processes is a plus. Key Responsibilities Review and approve technical documents and Turkish food labels. Collect and manage all required documents and information from manufacturers/exporters. Monitor and interpret new legislation and regulatory amendments in Turkey and the EU. Manage communication and regulatory affairs activities across teams and departments. Oversee the Ministry application process for new food products, including preparation, evaluation, submission, and follow-up through the Food Safety Information System (GGBS). Ensure compliance with labeling and regulatory standards for all imported food products. Why Join Us?
