Quality Manager Job Description Position Summary: The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HME Quality Department under the direction of the Director of Customer and Operational Excellence. The primary objective of this role will be to ensure that all HME Apparatus are built to HME Quality Standards, with documentation/metric tracking and reporting to reduce consistent issues discovered, cross-functional department work, Team training, and provide overall direction to the Quality Team in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure compliance and consistent build of the Apparatus with all documentation required being recorded in accordance with HME standards. Monitor and audit current processes, assist in developing future improvement processes Develop and implement Module Line inspections. Define, maintain, and review of Quality Standards of the organization with support from other departments. Analyze data and report as required on a consistent basis. Work cross functional with Customer Service for common field issues discovered and apply to all internal teams for future resolution and product improvement. Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and optimize process Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures. Direct all work to be performed in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in a Quality Management role. Strong understanding of quality control standards and controls. Ability to read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material and other written instructions or procedures. Good math and technical skills. Ability to use analytical thinking and reasoning to problem-solve. Ability to effectively organize assigned work so that job tasks are performed efficiently and accurately. High degree of attention to detail, self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. General Physical Requirements: light to moderate work -- required to exert up to 30 lbs. of force regularly up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally.
