Product Marketing Manager
Job Summary
Analyse market trends and regulatory developments and take required actions in a timely manner.
Responsible for expanding the product's market coverage by setting up a product strategy plan.
Responsible for maximizing profit and minimizing loss by managing product lifecycle and developing pricing strategy, executing Go To Market plans and assure successful launch of new products to meet the target sales for the products in line with company KPIs.
Responsible for GTM activities from end-to-end process and engage and lead with internal departments such as Sales, Retail, Marcom, Finance, Legal teams to provide appropriate guides information, plans to execute KPIs in the timely manner.
Responsible for the transition of the products lifecycle, from pre-launch till phase out decision.
Analyse product sell-out requirements and develop appropriate promotion programs
Optimize SCM process by managing healthy inventory
Constantly monitor financial and operational performance of the products and perform achieve required tunings about the products.
Identify opportunities and threads in the business environment and prepare and execute commercial responses accordingly.
Job Description
[Line-up management] Perform the development and management of the line-up portfolio plan and efficiency improvement efforts and market issue response. Develop long term and mid term product portfolio plans to meet KPIs.
[Launch management] Perform the product/service launch timeline setting by analysing the new model's target quantity and its profit and loss, and by working closely with HQ & RHQ.
[Pricing operation] The pricing operation strategy of each segment and model.
[Discontinuation management] Devise the plans to minimize the leftover materials when a product is to be discontinued by setting appropriate discontinuation timeline and plans to utilize the leftover materials by closely working with SCM team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years' experience in product marketing, preferably in consumer electronics industry
Excellent skills in Microsoft office packages; in particular Excel
Demonstrated innovation and creative problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills both in Turkish and English
Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and priority management
Must be creative thinker and strong team player
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
