Responsibilities They know the types of medications, different dosages, and possible side effects that should be administered according to the disease/age group; they administer enteral, parenteral, and topical medications to the patient according to the physician's order, adhering to drug administration and drug safety principles/procedures; they observe, record, and report to relevant parties, when necessary, the effects and side effects of the administered drugs and treatments, and the patient's response to treatment and care. The unit performs inventory and expiration date checks of stock medications, narcotics and psychotropic drugs, stock materials, fixed assets, dressing carts, and emergency carts in accordance with the relevant procedure.
