Applications are invited for the post of Managing Director in the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) on a contractual basis. The position is open to retired Major General rank officers of the Indian Army. The candidate must be below 60 years of age as on 21 October 2026 and should meet the required qualitative requirements mentioned below. The candidate should be a PSC-qualified officer and preferably have HDMC/HCC qualification. Preference will be given to officers who have held graded staff appointments at Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence (Army), Command, or Corps Headquarters while serving in the rank of Major General or Brigadier. The officer should have been SHAPE-1 medical category at the time of superannuation and must be medically fit on the date of employment.
