Karstup Pty Ltd Trading as • Crown Clinic • International Centre for Cosmetic Medicine Australia (ICCM) Level 14, Park House, 187 Macquarie Street Sydney 2000 NSW Full Time Lead Medical Technician/Hair Transplant Technician Salary: $214,300 + superannuation Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities • Consistently provide the highest quality of service while upholding the Clinic’s Medical policies and procedures. • Have Hair Transplant experience (5 years minimum). • Experience in FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) procedures • Have some Medical knowledge and understanding. • Manage pre-op preparation, maintaining a sterile environment and helping with safely disposing of instruments and materials postoperatively. • Under the Hair Transplant surgeon’s guidance, the Hair Transplant Technician will be responsible for extracting, making incisions and planting grafts. • Set up, removal, and maintenance of instruments, machine, and microscopes for FUE procedures • Estimates size of donor site using densitometer along with nurses and prepares site for surgery • Assists during surgery (removal of donor site) for FUE procedure • Prepare and count grafts for placement manually using magnification and maintaining graft integrity throughout case • Educates patient throughout the procedure • Ensures patient is comfortable during procedure • Monitors patients for pain and bleeding during case and reports to nurse • Set-up equipment for graft placement and ensures grafts are handled and chilled appropriately • Ensures counts are accurate • Prepares scalp for placement of grafts • Places grafts according to physician direction • Must be able to supervise the technical team in the theatre Education and Experience Required • Highly experienced and trained in graft/follicular unit dissection. (min 5 years) • experience in a clinical setting or allied health services (min 5 years) • Knowledge of patient care principles and practices • Minimum Diploma in health-related area Applications open 24 November 2025 and close 24 December 2025.
