Full time · Entry level FMCG Job Description KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Strategic: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid facilities, and communication protocols. Conduct regular drills to assess the effectiveness of emergency preparedness measures. Apply health and safety rules in all stages of work and follow-up implementation to create healthy & safe company culture. Work on initiatives for the continual improvements in health, safety and environmental activities. Operational: Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, unsafe practices, or non-compliance. Report the any deviations and follow-up on the corrective, preventive actions. Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate records of all incidents and provide timely reports to the line manager. Assist in implementing HSE procedures, risk assessments, and safety audits in food production and storage areas. Support and participate in accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Track and report HSE KPIs (e.g., TRIR, near-miss frequency, environmental compliance scores). Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees on topics such as hygiene, food safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), chemical handling, etc.
