Educational Research Specialist In line with Hisar Schools' mission, vision, and strategic plan, the Professional Learning Center at Hisar Schools operates within the school to support and develop research processes. It guides research projects conducted by school staff, providing support in areas such as literature review, data collection, and method selection. It contributes to making research findings visible, sharing them on national and international platforms, and developing collaborations. Furthermore, it supports the planning of action research-focused professional learning programs, contributes to securing funding for research projects, and works towards fostering a strong research culture within the school community. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Works to ensure that research processes within the school proceed effectively. It supports the research project application process. It provides support to researchers throughout the process (solving problems, literature review, selecting appropriate methods and tools for data collection, etc.). It creates a project call calendar for research projects. They work on the processing, interpretation, and evaluation of research data. It plans and implements professional learning programs related to Action Research. It works on sharing research findings on national and international platforms. In line with the school's mission, vision, and strategic plan, it conducts research in areas where needed to assess the current situation, prepares reports, shares its findings, and develops recommendations. It compiles research findings published within the context of current trends, opportunities, changes, and needs in education, gathers relevant literature findings, and shares them with the school community. Once a year, they manage the process of publishing a journal containing research articles; chapters from research conducted at the school, etc. It works to increase national and international collaborations in research. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Graduates from relevant university departments, preferably with a master's degree; possessing advanced research knowledge and experience in the field of education, particularly at the K12 level. Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, data collection and analysis processes; and experience in the development and implementation of data collection tools. Having experience in conducting literature searches in academic databases, reporting research findings, and publishing. To be able to establish effective communication and develop collaborations with various internal and external stakeholders. Possessing strong written and spoken communication skills in both Turkish and English. Having knowledge and awareness of ethical research and data management, privacy, and security principles. Being aware of the potential offered by productive artificial intelligence tools, being able to use these tools as needed, and keeping up with developments.
