Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a DevSecOps Trainee (Open Source Mentorship) located in Kazan. The trainee will assist in building and securing modern cloud and container infrastructures through hands-on involvement with Zero-Trust principles and tools. Responsibilities include learning and contributing to open-source projects, implementing and automating infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), performing security reviews, and detecting vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will actively participate in mentorship sessions and gain extensive training in DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. Qualifications Foundational knowledge of DevOps methodologies, including understanding of containers (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). Familiarity with programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). Interest in security concepts such as Zero Trust models, observability, vulnerability scanning, and Identity Access Management (IAM). Willingness to learn, contribute to, and work with open-source tools and communities. Good communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Git and understanding of version control workflows is a plus. Previous experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and infrastructure security is advantageous.
