Job Description
Ensure the protection of organizational data throughout its lifecycle by implementing data security controls, monitoring data usage, and supporting the prevention, detection, and response to data-related security incidents. The role focuses on safeguarding sensitive, confidential, and regulated data by applying encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure backup practices in alignment with approved data protection policies and standards. The Data Protection Specialist plays a key role in reducing data-related risks by ensuring that data is accessed, stored, transmitted, and handled securely. The role supports compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, contributes to audit and assessment activities, and works closely with IT and business teams to embed secure data handling practices into operational processes and systems.

• Maintain documentation related to data security controls
• Support audits and regulatory compliance activities
• Coordinate with IT and business teams on data protection matters
