Role Overview
The Country Sales Manager is responsible for building and scaling GoWit’s commercial presence in the assigned country.
This role owns retailer acquisition, agency relationships, and brand-side advertiser sales, with full responsibility for driving retail media adoption and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate operates comfortably across retailers, agencies, and brands, brings advertising budgets into the ecosystem, and acts as the commercial face of GoWit in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Retailer & Marketplace Acquisition.
Identify, approach, and onboard mid to large-scale retailers, marketplaces, and delivery platforms.
Lead discussions with senior stakeholders (CEO, CMO, Head of E-commerce, Monetization and digital).
Analyze retailers’ GMV, traffic, and category structure to assess retail media revenue potential.
Close pilot agreements and convert them into long-term commercial partnerships.
Agency & Media Network Development
Build and manage strong relationships with local and regional media agencies.
Position GoWit as the preferred retail media technology partner for agency-led campaigns.
Educate agency teams on GoWit’s retail media capabilities, use cases, and value proposition.
Actively drive agency-led campaign planning and budget allocation through GoWit-powered retailers.
Brand & Advertiser Sales
Lead direct sales conversations with major brands and performance-driven advertisers.
Clearly articulate the value of retail media across branding and performance objectives.
Secure initial campaigns and grow repeat and long-term advertising spend.
Build and manage a strong advertiser pipeline with clear revenue forecasts.
Revenue & Growth Ownership
Own country-level sales targets, pipeline management, and deal closures.
Deliver monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts and performance reports.
Share market insights, competitor intelligence, and pricing feedback with HQ.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Tech teams.
Ensure smooth retailer onboarding and successful launch of initial campaigns.
Act as the single commercial owner of the country operation.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in digital advertising, retail media, adtech, or martech sales.
Proven experience working with retailers, agencies, and advertisers.
Strong track record of managing large advertising budgets (six to seven figures annually).
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution capability.
Fluency in English and the local language.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience building or scaling a retail media network.
Previous experience on the agency side.
Regional market exposure (MENA, CEE, EU).
Startup or high-growth company background.
