Position Title: Area Sales Manager Location: Russia (Flexible, with frequent regional travel) Key Responsibilities Market Development & Expansion Identify, evaluate, and prioritize market opportunities in the Russian agricultural machinery and precision agriculture sectors. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue targets, focusing on company’s GNSS-based solutions (e.g., precision farming systems, autonomous navigation, and agricultural machinery integration). Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, OEM partners, agricultural cooperatives, and end-users. Sales & Business Growth Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by driving new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts. Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and negotiations to close deals with agricultural machinery manufacturers, dealers, and large-scale farms. Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to provide market feedback and influence product localization strategies for the Russian market. Customer Engagement & Support Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high satisfaction levels. Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and field demonstrations to showcase company’s technology and solutions. Competitive Analysis & Reporting Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting the agricultural technology sector in Russia. Provide regular reports on sales progress, market insights, and customer feedback to senior management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the agricultural machinery, precision agriculture, or GNSS/navigation technology sectors, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Russian agricultural machinery market, including key players, distribution channels, and customer pain points. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with GNSS technology, precision farming systems, and agricultural machinery automation. Language Skills: Fluent in Russian and English.. Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within Russia and nearby other countries.
