Applications are now being accepted for the Stowers Summer Program 2026, where you can spend your summer conducting cutting-edge scientific research. Both domestic and international students from all around the world are welcome to apply for this extremely competitive, fully supported, eight-week research fellowship. The program will take place from June 1 to July 24, 2026, at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri. $5,000 Stipend: To cover living expenses, participants will receive a $5,000 wage for the entire eight-week program. Travel Support: The student’s school and Kansas City, Missouri, are fully covered for round-trip transportation. Housing: For the duration of the program, housing close to the Stowers Institute campus is given at no cost. Cohort & Cultural Activities: Fellows will participate in planned social and group events in the Kansas City region, providing chances for networking, teamwork, and cultural discovery.
