The Forest and Climate Change Department, Chhattisgarh, intends to develop a Botanical Garden under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode at two locations in the state. The first site is an approximately 350-acre area near Jungle Safari, Nava Raipur, and the second is a 43-acre site at Nandanvan, located on the Raipur–Bhilai Road. The proposed development is focused on biodiversity conservation, establishment of a nature interpretation centre, promotion of local hedge and traditional ecosystem-based centres, and various eco-tourism related activities aimed at enhancing environmental awareness and sustainable tourism. A pre-tender meeting with prospective bidders and investors will be held on 06 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at Aranya Bhawan, Sector-19, Nava Raipur. Interested investors are invited to participate in the meeting. A site visit to both project locations will also be organized, and suggestions will be invited to improve the financial viability and self-sustainability of the projects.
