Universal Cables Limited has issued a notice regarding a Special Window for transfer and dematerialisation of physical securities in accordance with SEBI Circular dated 30 January 2026. The facility will remain open for a period of one year, from 5 February 2026 to 4 February 2027, for shares that were sold or purchased prior to 1 April 2019. This window also covers previously submitted transfer requests that were rejected or left unprocessed due to documentation or procedural deficiencies.
Under this initiative, all approved transfers will be credited only in dematerialised form, and the securities will be subject to a mandatory lock-in period of one year from the date of transfer. During the lock-in period, such securities cannot be transferred, pledged, or marked with any lien. Cases involving disputes between transferor and transferee, as well as securities already transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF), will not be eligible under this facility.
Shareholders are advised to take advantage of this opportunity by submitting the original share certificates, duly executed transfer deeds, Client Master List (CML), and other required documents to the Company’s Registrar and Share Transfer Agent, MUFG Intime India Pvt.
