Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has issued a shareholder notice regarding the transfer of equity shares and unclaimed dividends to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) under Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013.
As per the notice, shareholders who have not claimed dividends for seven consecutive years (from FY 2018–19 onwards) are required to take immediate action to claim their unpaid dividends before 11 September 2026. If no claim is received by this deadline, the corresponding shares along with all accrued benefits will be transferred to the IEPF Authority as per the prescribed rules.
The company has also advised shareholders to update their KYC details such as PAN, mobile number, email, bank details, address, and signature through their Depository Participant (for demat holdings) or Registrar and Transfer Agent (for physical holdings) to avoid disruption in future dividend payments and communications.
In case of physical shares, duplicate share certificates will be issued and transferred to IEPF, after which the original certificates will be deemed cancelled. For demat shares, the transfer will be executed directly through the respective Depository Participant.
Shareholders may submit their claims to the Registrar and Transfer Agent, MUFG Intime India Private Limited, or visit the company’s official website for the list of unclaimed dividends and further details.
This notice is issued for compliance and investor awareness regarding protection and timely claim of dividends
