Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited has announced a Monthly Fuel Cost Adjustment (MFCA) for purchasers of electricity due to an increase in the effective cost of coal compared to the last approved fuel cost under the FY 2025–26 tariff determination. As per the West Bengal Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2011 (as amended), the MFCA has been fixed at 60 paise per kWh and will be applicable from the date of notification until further notice. The adjustment will be recovered from purchasers of electricity supplied by the company, and annual reconciliation will be carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations.
