Asian Star Company Limited has issued a public notice informing shareholders about the proposed transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority under Section 124 of the Companies Act, 2013. As per the notice, shares relating to shareholders who have not claimed or encashed dividends for seven consecutive financial years (including 2018–19 onwards) are liable to be transferred to the IEPF Account maintained by the Central Government. The company has already sent individual communications to the concerned shareholders at their registered addresses. The list of affected shareholders and related details have been made available on the company’s official website under the “Investor Center” section for verification. Shareholders are advised to check their details and submit valid documents, if applicable, to claim unclaimed dividends and prevent transfer of their shares. In case no valid claim is received on or before 3 November 2026, the company will proceed with transferring the shares to the IEPF Authority without further notice. Once transferred, the original share certificates will stand cancelled, and dematerialised shares will be debited from the respective demat accounts. After transfer, shareholders can claim their shares and benefits only through the IEPF Authority by filing Form IEPF-5 on the official IEPF portal.
