Bishnu Prasad Rabha was a well known Indian cultural figure from Assam, well known for his contributions towards the Assamese culture. His contributions were in the fields of music, dance, painting, literature as well as political activism. As an advocate of peoples' cultural movement, he drew heavily from different genres of classical and folk cultural traditions.
