Grant Morrison, MBE (born 31 January 1960) is a Scottish comic book writer and playwright. He is known for his nonlinear narratives and countercultural leanings in his runs on titles including, but not limited to, DC Comics's Animal Man, Doom Patrol, Batman, JLA, Action Comics, All-Star Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Vertigo's The Invisibles, and Fleetway's 2000 AD.
